This Privacy Policy explains how Kesho ("Kesho", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Kesho mobile app and this website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Recordings and transcripts. Audio you record or upload, and the transcripts, summaries, action items, and other notes generated from it.
• Usage data. How you use the app (for example, minutes transcribed and features used) to operate the Service and enforce plan limits.
• Purchase data. Subscription status, managed through the Apple App Store / Google Play and our billing provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

How we use your information

• To transcribe, summarize, and let you search and query your meetings.
• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the Service. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database, file storage, and hosting of transcription processing.
• Anthropic — AI processing of transcripts to generate summaries, action items, and answers.
• RevenueCat and the app stores (Apple, Google) — subscription management and billing.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or your meeting content. We share information only with the service providers above, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your recordings and notes until you delete them or close your account. Deleting a note also deletes its source audio from storage. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at kesho@buyitfastest.co.za.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including access controls that scope your recordings and notes to your account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

Kesho is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
