Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kesho app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Kesho records or ingests audio and uses automated speech recognition and AI to produce transcripts, summaries, action items, and answers. Features and limits may change over time.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.

Recording responsibly

You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to recording conversations, including obtaining any consent required from other participants. Do not use Kesho to record where you are not permitted to.

Subscriptions and billing

Kesho offers a free tier and a paid Kesho Pro subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and auto-renew until cancelled. Manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Your content

You own your recordings and the notes generated from them. You grant us the limited rights needed to process and store your content to provide the Service (including via the service providers described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your content and must have the right to upload it.

AI-generated output

Transcripts, summaries, and answers are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. Do not rely on them as a sole source of truth for important decisions. Kesho is a productivity aid, not professional advice.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to process.

Intellectual property

The Service, including the Kesho name, logo, and software, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you rights to our branding.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that transcripts or AI output are accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kesho will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
